Mountain Caribou

We have a resident caribou population and do not rely on pursuing a migrating herd. In August and early September, the Caribou are scattered and found higher on the ridges. By late September and early October, the animals have grouped for the rut and are found at lower elevations and the selection of larger animals is better.
