Black Bear

We hunt Black Bear in May and June along with our Spring Grizzly hunts. These hunts are at lower elevations along the Stikine River. Black Bears can also be taken on a trophy fee basis during our fall hunts. There are fewer black bears in the high country, but there are some big bears in the area, with most of them being jet black.
